AbuDhabi’s Darwish Bin Ahmed & Sons Travel & Tourism, one of the emirate’s leading tourism players, has established a new company, DBA Sons Tourism, to specialise in inbound and outbound tour packages.
The company was launched at the FITUR trade show in Spain in January and aims to offer a range of ground-breaking incentives to build its competitiveness.
“We will provide a complimentary travel insurance value-addition to tour packages of 10 days or more booked through us,” explained Khalifa Saif Al Ketbi, managing director.
“We will also provide free pick-up and drop-off for VIP guests not covered by individual airline’s limousine packages.”
DBA & Sons joined the first Abu Dhabi tourism pavilion at the dedicated Spanish show led by Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority.
And Al Ketbi said the company was intent on meeting new suppliers and developing new associations for the promotion of tours within the UAE and was particularly keen to do business with representatives from Eastern Europe seeing significant potential for travellers from the region to enjoy stop-over packages in Abu Dhabi on journeys to destinations in Asia and Australasia.
