Seawings’ aerial package tours of Dubai

Seawings offers sightseeing flights over Dubai’s dramatic and ever changing coastal skyline in a Cessna 208 Caravan Amphibian seaplane.

In a joint venture with Jebel Ali Golf Resort Spa, the company recently announced its newest tour venture known as Seawings Lifestyle. This tour package comprises a 40 minute Seawings Silver Seaplane sightseeing tour, followed by a choice of one of the resort facilities; nine holes of golf, a relaxing two hour spa treatment, or a half day beach access at the hotel.

The company creates tour packages for individuals, couples, families, corporate incentives and groups, and will take care of everything from picking guests up from their respective hotels, assisting them for the flight and arranging for their return by luxury vehicle.

Tourists and residents can take advantage of seeing Dubai from another angle and at 1,500 feet above sea level. The nine seater seaplane provides views from each seat, an exciting water take off and landing, a luxury cabin with leather seating and air conditioning.

Up to eight flights are offered daily, leaving every hour, starting from 8 am and finishing at 6 pm. Seawings also provides various ranges of services such as corporate entertainment, staff incentives, site inspections and leisure tours. The ‘silver’ tour option lasting 40 minutes costs Dh1,100 for an adult, and Dh935 for a child. The route takes in views of Jebel Ali Palm, Jebel Ali Resort, Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah,  Burj Al Arab Hotel,  Burj Dubai, Dubai Creek, Port Rashid and The World.

The ‘gold’ full charter flight costs Dh9,500 per charter and is for up to nine passengers. It follows the same route as the ‘silver’ tour option, and transport is by luxury limousine. A ‘gold lite’ package is an exclusive charter for smaller groups for Dh6,500 per charter flight, and is up to four passengers per flight. Other options are also available.

“Seawings is a unique way to see Dubai and with Seawings Lifestyle we aim to offer complete experience package to our valued guests,” said CEO Stuart Wheeler.

Currently the company owns three Cessna 208 Caravan Amphibian seaplanes operating out of Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa. Jet-Ops FZE, holder of UAE Air Operators Certificate, operates the aircraft on behalf of Seawings. Jet-Ops is a wholly owned subsidiary of Air Charter International group, a major aircraft management organisation operating in Dubai since 1994.
