Skål treasurer proposes Dubai to host 2010 congress
Werner Flegel, treasurer of Skål Bielefeld-Teutburger Wald in Germany, encouraged a proposal from Dubai to host the Skål World Congress in 2010. Prince Andrew pays royal visit to Grand Hyatt Cairo
Grand Hyatt Cairo hosted HRH Prince Andrew, Duke of York, during his first official visit to Egypt to meet with senior Egyptian government and businessmen to discuss the development of trade and investment links between Egypt and the UK. Chef Greg wins Ideal Home Show competition
Executive Chef Marcus Greg from Novotel Dubai walked away with top honours at the cooking competition during the Ideal Home Show in Dubai. The event was held in association with the Grosvenor House Hotel and BBC. The fun began when Greg, Gary Robinson, the Grosvenor House chef, Chef Danny Lewis from Prasinos Jumeirah and Salvatore Silvestrino the InterContinental chef were all given the same ingredients to create a dish within 30 minutes.
