DCA holds training forum
The Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) held its First Annual e.Training Forum under the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of the Department of Civil Aviation and chairman of Emirates Group. The e.Training Forum was an international platform designed to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas on latest research, developments, and applications of a broad range of issues related to e-training, training/learning and development. Sheikh Ahmed said: “e-training is an approach to fostering the learning objectives of our employees, broadening their knowledge and further enhancing their competency. Sheikh Ahmed is patron for AHIC
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman of Emirates, has been announced as patron at the Arabian Hotel Investment Conference (AHIC) in Dubai. Sheikh Ahmed said: “Arabia is one of the world’s fastest-growing regions for travel and tourism and tourism is driving the economies for many of these countries. “Turning to Dubai specifically, we have been set stringent targets for tourism growth, with 15 million visitors expected by 2010.
