Industry veteran to head soon-to-open Khalidia Palace Hotel Dubai

Khalidia Palace Hotel Dubai by Mourouj Gloria, the soon-to-be-unveiled 5-star oasis of luxury, has appointed industry veteran, Mohammed Iqbal as its new General Manager.

Under the leadership of Iqbal, a stellar management team has been assembled to uphold the highest standards of luxury service, guest experience, and operational efficiency, the hotel said. The team comprises industry professionals who will be helming key positions at the property.

The new appointments at the property include Rahim Muhammad Iqbal as Director of Finance, Genu Nair as Rooms Division Manager, Rula Khulaif as Director of Sales, Amal Falouh as Talent Acquisition and Learning Development Manager, Guha Priya as Executive Housekeeper, Asela Dias as Chief Engineer Ibrahim Mohamed as F&B Manager and Mian Muhammad Imran as Executive Chef.

He is a certified hotel administrator from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute, holds an MBA from the University of Wolverhampton and has completed an Executive Diploma in International Business Management from Pearson Assured. His academic achievements are further complemented by a Certified Hotel Revenue Manager credential from the prestigious Cornell University.

Over his career, Mohammed Iqbal has played a key role in the successful launch and evolution of several prominent hotels within the GCC. His expertise has flourished through strategic alliances with notable brands, including Crown, Four Points by Sheraton, Khalidia Hotel Apartments, Mourouj Hotel Apartments, Ramada, Gloria Hotel Suites, and Park Plaza Hotel.
