Kempinski Hotel Muscat has announced the appointment of Manal Al Omari as Assistant Director of Marketing & E-Commerce and Mohamad Haidar as Executive Pastry Chef.
Kempinski Hotel Muscat has announced the appointment of Manal Al Omari as Assistant Director of Marketing & E-Commerce and Mohamad Haidar as Executive Pastry Chef.
Al Omari brings with her more than 10 years of experience in e-commerce and marketing, having led the e-commerce and digital departments for leading hotel chains across several countries in the Middle East.
She joins Kempinski Hotel Muscat from her most recent role as Marketing Manager for the prestigious Burj Al Arab in Dubai where her mission was to develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive further business growth.
In her new role, Al Omari will use her pursuit of best practices and her passion for improvement towards the continued success of the hotel where she will be entrusted with deploying innovative marketing campaigns and growing the revenue and market share from e-commerce activities.
She was recognized in Hotelier Middle East’s inaugural 30 under 30 power list not only for her expertise but also for her work ethic and commitment.
Meanwhile, Haidar brings with him more than 15 years of extensive pastry chef experience, having led the pastry kitchen team for leading hotels and restaurants across several countries in the Middle East & Europe.
He joins Kempinski Muscat from his most recent role as Head Pastry Chef for L’Oscar London, a luxury boutique hotel in London where his mission was to manage all aspects of the pastry and bakery sections, including menu development, team members training and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.
In his new role, Haidar will use his expertise and impressive background towards the continued success of the hotel where he will focus on bringing innovation and enrichment to the hotel pastry products and introduce a new diverse offering of sweets and craft pastry masterpieces.
Throughout his career, he has received numerous accolades for his pastry creations, including recognition in national and global pastry competitions such as Horeca and the world Chocolate Master Competition in Dubai. -TradeArabia News Service
