Marriott hotels in Jordan donate $75,000 to fund for orphans

Marriott International Hotels in Jordan came together to embrace the “Spirit to Serve Our Communities” initiative in partnership with Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans and collected $75,000 through fund raising activities.

Marriott International Hotels in Jordan, under Jordan Business Council (JBC), came together to embrace the  “Spirit to Serve Our Communities” initiative in partnership with Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans and collected $75,000 through fund raising activities since September 2022.
 
The donation handover ceremony was hosted at the Sheraton Amman Al Nabil Hotel in January with the participation of the General Manager of Al Aman Fund, Noor Homoud; the Multi-Property General Manager,  Philip Papadopoulos; the Multi-Property General Manager and JBC Chairman, Erden Kendigelen; JBC Co-Chairman and General Manager of Dead Sea Marriott Resort & Spa, Muhannad Hameed; JBC Subcommittee Chair and General Manager of Amman Marriott Hotel, Laith Naber.
 
Jordan Business Council with their eight participating hotels, The Ritz - Carlton Amman, St Regis Amman, W Amman, Al Manara, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba, Amman Marriott Hotel, Dead Sea Marriott Resort & Spa, Petra Marriott Hotel and Sheraton Amman Al Nabil Hotel undertook three main activities to support Al Aman Fund in September 2022. 
 
The “Day for Life” donation campaign was launched in September across all Marriott International Hotels through which the associates donated 1,786 vacation days to make a positive impact on the future of orphans. 
 
Erden Kendigelen commented: “We are honored to join our forces with all Marriott International Hotels in Jordan in support of such a life changing cause, we are eager to continue our partnership with Al Aman Fund in supporting the Future of Orphans for their education, personal growth and future employment in our hotels.
