JW Marriott Dubai presents Greg Malouf in chef series
The team at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai, the Destination of Exceptional Taste, has announced the third edition of the Celebrity Chef series with Greg Malouf, the Michelin-lauded Australian-Lebanese Chef.
Aligned with the ethos of ‘Gather by JW’, diners will be offered a taste of the Middle East and India as celebrated Chef Malouf makes his way into the Rang Mahal kitchen for a two-night experience in collaboration with Chef De Cuisine of the venue Chef Alok.
Chef Malouf is recognized as a Modern Middle Eastern Master with his sophisticated approach and native culinary expertise. Chef Malouf is no stranger to the region, inspiring countless dining venues throughout the past decade and home cooks for over 20 years with his award winning cookbooks.
Adding his Michelin flair to Rang Mahal’s signature dishes Chef Malouf has curated a menu that playfully celebrates Indian and Middle Eastern flavours. Pani puri’s meet hummus, and falafel is doused in raita marrying the best of street food to begin the evening. The main event sees a take on Surf and Turf fusing Chef Malouf’s Middle Eastern culture with the aromatics of India.
Bengali style sea bass features harissa and brik wafers, Rajasthani chicken is elevated with atayef and tahini whipped yoghurt and an Indian spiced Australian Lamb cutlet with crushed chickpeas are all enjoyed with tabbouleh. The evening ends on a sweet note, with Chef Malouf’s take on beloved kulfi, infused with cardamom, saffron and honey, mango caramel salsa and pistachio.
Greg Malouf is excited to work with the Rang Mahal team for the latest edition of the Celebrity Chef Series. On the back of two successful editions, the hotel continues to partner with local and internationally renowned chefs.
