Safir Hotels & Resorts’ newest addition to its portfolio, Safir Sharm El Sheikh resort, was unveiled at this year's Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai last month, along with its portfolio of 10 operational properties, future re-openings, and refurbishment plans.
As Kuwait’s first hospitality management company, Safir Hotel and Resorts was proud to participate with its own booth at the 28th edition of the Arab Travel Market forum, which was held under the slogan “A New Dawn for Travel and Tourism". The exhibition was the largest live event since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre on May 16-19, 2021. In addition to the live, physical event, a virtual version of the exhibition was held over May 24-26, 2021. The forum witnessed the participation of representatives of 70 countries representing the most prominent specialists and experts in the travel and hospitality sector from the region and the world, who are working to revive the tourism sector in the Middle East.
Safir Hotels & Resorts’ participation this year included the prominent presence of the company’s senior management. The booth was attended by Fawzi Al-Musallam, CEO of the company, and various head office department heads and regional directors. All recognised the importance of the forum as an ideal platform for promoting the company, especially in light of the gradual re-opening of travel in many Arab countries and the announcement of the company's expansion plan in the Middle East and North Africa.
One of the most important topics highlighted at the forum was Safir’s newest property, the Safir Sharm El Sheikh resort, which joined the hotel management company’s portfolio in early 2021. Other topics highlighted include future projects and plans to update its current hotels in accordance with the latest global technologies to keep pace with competitiveness and guest satisfaction.
Safir presented itself in the forum in line with its SAFER@SAFIR initiative, which was launched by the company at the start of the pandemic in cooperation with specialized international institutions. The SAFER@SAFIR measures are intended to limit the spread of Covid-19 through the application of strict health controls to ensure compliance with all local and international precautionary measures. By providing the necessary protection for the work team and its guests alike, Safir provides a distinctive hotel experience to its customers in a safe environment. - TradeArabia News Service
