Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior has announced a temporary suspension of entry to the kingdom of travellers from 20 countries from February 3.

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior has announced a temporary suspension of entry to the kingdom of travellers from 20 countries from February 3 including India, UK and the US.
 
The suspension does not apply to Saudi citizens, diplomats, health practitioners and their families.
 
The countries are Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Portugal, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UAE, UK and the US, said a Saudi Press Agency report.
 
The temporary suspension also includes whoever comes from other countries but passes through any of the aforementioned countries during the 14 days preceding the request to enter the kingdom, said the report.
 
The source added that the citizens, diplomats, health practitioners and their families coming from the aforementioned countries or those who transited any of those countries during the 14 days preceding their return to the kingdom will enter the kingdom in accordance with the precautionary measures imposed by the Ministry of Health.
 
The ministry pointed out that the temporary suspension will go into force on February 3.
