New Resort Manager for Anantara Sir Bani Yas Resorts

Anantara Sir Bani Yas Resorts has appointed Rachid Bakas as its new Resort Manager. With more than 16 years of seasoned experience under his belt, Bakas will lead the teams overseeing three Anantara Resorts on the Island.

With more than 16 years of seasoned experience under his belt, Bakas will lead the teams overseeing three Anantara Resorts on the Island.

Bakas joined Anantara Sir Bani Yas Resorts in April 2014 as Front Office Manager. Since then with his effective management and dedication, he climbed up the ranks to Rooms Division Manager, then Director of Rooms and has now been promoted to Resort Manager to lead the three properties to deliver a memorable experience for local guests and international travellers alike.
 
Prior to joining Anantara Hotels, he held several management roles in Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts over a span of eight years based in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
 
Bakas is passionate about enhancing guest experiences and nurturing his talented team. He is committed to maintaining Anantara’s luxury service excellence and delivering unparalleled experiences in the upcoming years.
 
Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Resorts are located on the biggest natural island within the UAE. The Island portfolio consists of the 30-key Anantara Al Yamm Villa Resort, the 30-key Anantara Al Sahel Villa Resort and Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara with 64 keys.
