Travel professionals, and basically everyone, can now video chat from Australia's most iconic destinations with a series of new Zoom backgrounds from Tourism Australia.
"Use these ridiculously beautiful Zoom backdrops from the 'Australian Great Outdoors' collection and pretend you're Down Under on your next conference call, family catch up or class lesson," says Tourism Australia.
Phillipa Harrison, managing director of Tourism Australia, said, “Whether you are using video conferencing to speak to colleagues and loved ones, transport yourself to a beautiful Australian location and take a virtual Australian break. While we know you can't visit us right now, we'll still be here for when it's safe to travel again with the same incredible white sandy beaches, vast landscapes, colourful reefs and wildlife.”
While it's not advised to travel right now, you can keep dreaming and planning for when it's safe to travel again. Until then, why not hang with kangaroos on the famous white sandy beach of Lucky Bay in Western Australia or pretend you're in the heart of Australia's Outback – Uluru in the Northern Territory? These awe-inspiring Australian destinations should be top of anyone's travel bucket list. From the outback to the coast, to the icons and undiscovered, there's still nothing like Australia.
Travel is proven to be good for your health and wellbeing. Planning a trip can spark creativity and bring with it positivity about the future. So, keep dreaming and start planning for when it's safe to travel again, and get excited about the vast amount of trips and experiences you can have in Australia. Book flexible fares and rates for later in the year, or next, and you could also assist local Australian tourism operators who are relying on your future business to rebuild and thrive.
