Hotel Café Royal has launched ‘The London Retreat’ in partnership with an exciting mix of wellness brands. With ultra-quiet bedrooms, yoga and meditation classes, personal training, unique bone setting treatments and a health-conscious menu all on offer under one roof, The London Retreat has everything a guest would need for a wellness escape, no long-haul flight necessary.

To complete the experience, Hotel Café Royal has partnered with silk sleepwear company, Slip, revolutionary meditation app MEYA and Rob Hobson, author of The Art of Sleeping.

Spanning over 1,200 sq m, the Akasha Holistic Wellbeing, London, is an urban retreat in the heart of London underneath buzzing Regent Street. Akasha is home to one of London’s only Watsu pools, an 18-metre pool and 300 sq m gym fully equipped with the latest technology including LifeFitness equipment.

State of the art triple-glazed B&B Italia windows allow for best in class noise reduction in the heart of the city, with king-size beds and Frette linen the finishing touches. The experience has been enhanced with the hotel’s partners for The London Retreat, creating a bespoke offering for those looking for a re-set. Rooms will be equipped with pillowcases and eye masks from Slip which are proven to be anti-ageing, anti-sleep crease and anti-bedhead.

To further assist in the goal of true revitalisation, guests will receive tailored advice from sleep expert Rob Hobson and access to the pioneering new app, MEYA. Designed to help users overcome the stresses and issues of day to day life, MEYA blends scientifically calibrated beats to help users embark on transformational journeys. MEYA will personalise tracks for guests to match their mood and musical tastes.

No details are forgotten in The London Retreat, with each participating guestroom or suite equipped with a Sleepwell glass – the soon to launch bedside drinking glass that is harder to accidentally knock over and quiet to put down to make for a peaceful night.

Guests can choose from one of two options in line with their needs. The first includes a one-night stay at Hotel Café Royal, a 90-minute Aromatherapy Associates massage before bed and an energising Valmont facial the following morning. The second option is designed for guests looking to achieve longer-term wellness goals and includes a three or four night-stay, three bone setting treatments, one Watsu treatment, a private yoga or personal training session, a private sound bath and a Valmont facial.
