Member of The Leading Hotels of the World, Croatia’s recently opened Grand Park Hotel Rovinj is becoming increasingly popular with guests from the GCC.
While the number is small now, the trend is extremely positive with a rise in visits from the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, tells a senior representative from the property. The growth from the Middle East market is almost 50 to 60 per cent annually since 2016, he says.
Maistra Collection's flagship hotel and a landmark of Rovinj, the hotel is positioned just across the bay from the Old town, with St Euphemia church and Catarina island as its focal points. The view from Grand Park Hotel Rovinj is breathtaking, but the view of the cascading hotel structure is no less remarkable. The six floors of the hotel contain 193 rooms and 16 suites with a sea view, some of which are up to 173 square metres in size.
Grand Park features six restaurants and bars, including the signature restaurant Cap Aureo. During their stay, guests can also enjoy the 3,800 square metres Albaro Wellness & Spa centre that extends over the uppermost two floors of the hotel, with indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, steam rooms, relaxing areas, various experience showers, and signature treatments. For business guests there are multipurpose conference rooms for meetings or smaller events.
The hotel's ground floor connects with the Lungomare Plaza promenade, and with the new marina, which is capable of accommodating vessels up to 35 metres long. The Lungomare Plaza promenade is a long coastal path that takes guests to the city centre in a nice and relaxing walk, and features premium design shops, bars and restaurants, providing a unique Mediterranean experience.
In Grand Park Hotel Rovinj guests can expect highly personalised, yet unobtrusive service, combined with attention to detail and world-class luxury imbued with authentic local culture.
During the high season between April and October, the hotel is best accessed from the Pula airport (30km away), which is very well connected. In the off season, the recommended flight connection is from Venice, which is 250 km away (2.5 hour drive).
