Hilton continues to expand its presence in Saudi Arabia with the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Makkah Jabal Omar, a report said.

Located in the centre of the holy city of Makkah and offering stunning views over the Grand Mosque (Al Masjid Al Haram), the hotel features 448 rooms and 228 suites as well as a host of other amenities and dining outlets, said a report in Saudi Gazette.

It also enjoys close proximity to the key malls around the central area, as well as the private entrance of Jabal Omar project. The hotel is also within a 55-minute drive of Jeddah International Airport.

Guests can enjoy aromatic coffee, freshly brewed tea, delightful pastries and tasty savoury snacks at the Fayrouz Lounge. Zafaran Restaurant, the all-day dining restaurant, offers an extensive buffet complemented by a breathtaking view of Makkah city. In addition, the Balsamic Restaurant draws inspiration from the Italian way of life and passion for food, boasting specially decorated walls, beautiful seating and chandeliers. The restaurant is a perfect spot to unwind with family and friends, tucking into fresh pasta and a beautiful selection of antipasti, as well as decadent desserts, it said.

As Saudi Arabia continues to increase its capacity to welcome a growing number of pilgrims every year, this Hilton hotel is a proud contributor to the development of the area surrounding The Grand Mosque and strives to provide Makkah visitors and residents with a unique experience.

DoubleTree by Hilton Makkah Jabal Omar is also part of Hilton Honors, the award-winning guest-loyalty programme for Hilton's 17 distinct hotel brands, the report said.
