Haines … focus on personalised service

WITH a magnificent beachfront location and lush gardens, the completely refurbished and renamed Amari Pattaya will welcome guests this month.

The resort, previously named Amari Ocean Pattaya, is a springboard to Pattaya’s vibrant attractions and local culture. Positioned along the coastline on the idyllic north end of Pattaya Beach, it is located just a few minutes from the Bali Hai Pier, Pattaya’s best malls and street-side stalls.

The property features modern guestrooms and luxurious suites showcasing contemporary Thai textures complimented by light tones, simple touches and understated elegant beach house-inspired style.

The Amari Tower offers 297 completely refurbished guest rooms and suites including Executive Club rooms and Executive Club Lounge, Fitness Centre, Breeze SPA, Amaya Food Gallery, and Aqua Eatery and Bar. The Amari Suites, tucked away in an exclusive building surrounded by lush landscaping, offers a collection of new-build 49 one- and two-bedroom suites, perfect for families and friends travelling together, Deborah Haines, area general manager, Eastern Thailand, tells TTN.

“This is followed with a new sun terrace area, including infinity pool, Aqua Park, Tree House Kids Club, Aqua Eatery and Bar and Amari Suites,” she continues.

The refurbished resort will bring many new aspects to Pattaya which will be appreciated by international visitors, says Haines.

“As a leisure guest, you can enjoy our personalised service, stay in the Amari Suites or Amari Tower with an extensive selection of accommodation to meet your needs,” she elaborates.

Children will be pampered with their own personal welcome, an animation team, dedicated mascots and water adventures. “Amari Pattaya will become the chosen destination for families, with the most engaging animation team for kids’ enjoyment. Our younger guests are just as important to us as the adults,” says Haines.

The property has long captivated meeting and conference guests with the serenity of a tropical retreat amidst the vibrant beach city of Pattaya. From mid-April, the hotel will offer new facilities for bespoke events.

“Events take on a whole new world now with the newly built conference centre for 1,000 people and a pool area for those special events. Social and team building event organisers now have a whole new opportunity to host events overlooking the sea,” she notes.

From the new ballroom, to the new pool area, and then beach lawn the property offers flexible spaces that adapt perfectly for meetings, conferences, incentives, weddings, and team-building activities of all sizes, from intimate groups of 10 to large-scale events of up to 1,000 people. The 620 sq m ballroom is suitable for large-scale MICE events and weddings. The 1,000 sq m beach lawn is ideal for open-air film screenings, weddings, weekend farmer’s markets and pop-up events.

Shopping near the hotel is very convenient, with many large and small stores within walking distance. The resort caters to all markets, including business, leisure, meetings and weddings with personalised services for all guests, observes Haines.

Thailand is everyone’s favourite gastronomy destination and Amari Pattaya offers its signature Thai dishes, which are available at all outlets, including Amaya Food Gallery, Beach Quarter (coming soon) and Aqua Eatery & Bar.

“Dine overlooking the pool and enjoy the sunset over the beach, whilst sipping a cool cocktail. Enjoy breakfast with a wide selection of local and international cuisine, served with a sunshine outlook. Also, take a moment to relax in our new Breeze SPA for that ultimate luxury,” suggests Haines.

On the activities and experiences front, the resort has many things to offer. They include: beach, pool, yoga, fitness, animation club for the kids, Aqua Park, live entertainment, kids disco each night, kids cinema, movies under the stars. “The list will go on increasing as we position Amari Pattaya to provide a new experience,” she says.

The Middle East is an important market for Thailand and Pattaya is no different. “We are now bringing to the market what the Middle East traveller is seeking - a quality resort with entertainment, relaxation and, above all, the passion to create something different,” says Haines.

Located less than 90 minutes by car from Bangkok and within easy reach of the city’s vibrant attractions, Amari Pattaya is a haven for business and leisure, enabling guests to immerse themselves in all the local action, whilst still providing space to retreat and get away from it all.

Amari is the centrepiece of the Onyx portfolio of hospitality brands reflecting the warmth and energy of an evolving modern Asia. Amari’s network of properties spans Thailand and beyond from scenic seaside locations to vibrant urban settings, including Bangkok, Buriram, Pattaya, Samui, Phuket, Krabi, Hua Hin, Doha, Dhaka, the Maldives, Johor Bahru, Galle, Vang Vieng and Yangshuo.
