Royal Caribbean Arabia has chosen Dubai as its starting point for tourists to discover the historic Spice Route aboard its newest ship, Spectrum of the Seas, which will be the first Quantum Ultra class cruise ship for Royal Caribbean. An evolution of the current Quantum-class ships, the vessel will introduce new fleet-first features.
Setting sail this summer from Dubai (May 4 to be specific), Spectrum of the Seas will take its passengers on a journey to learn about the beauty of the centuries-old spice route cities of Dubai, Muscat, Mumbai, Cochin, Penang and Singapore.
The ship’s features include virtual reality thrills in the Sky Pad and custom juice drink creations crafted by robots at the Bionic Bar, to revolutionary Suite Club accommodations with exclusive amenities like private dining rooms, lounges and a solarium. Not to mention karaoke performances in your own private 3D cinema in the brand-new Ultimate Family Suite.
Spectrum of the Seas will be based in Asia from June 2019 after her 51-night Global Odyssey from Barcelona, Spain departing in April 2019. The new ship will feature 27 unique itineraries, featuring 23 destinations across three countries, departing from ports such as Dubai, Shanghai, Tianjin, Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China.
