On the Italian shores of Lake Maggiore lies the historic Castello Dal Pozzo, current home of Dal Pozzo d'Annone family, who have turned the 24-hectare property into a resort.

“To welcome guests into your own home is a very intimate gesture. To take care of and dedicate oneself to those that choose us is our way of reciprocating their belief in us,” says Aimone Dal Pozzo, CEO Castello Dal Pozzo.

The resort is divided into three buildings – a castle, a palazzo and stables – and among them are luxurious rooms, restaurants and lounges, and a congress centre, to name a few.

The history of the property goes back to the 10th century and passed several hands – mostly of nobility – to be reclaimed in the 17th century by the descendants of the Visconti family, who first built the Castello circa 1000.

In the nineteenth century, Lake Maggiore was frequented by the European aristocracy and even today the romantic charm of its past seeps through.

The style of Castello Dal Pozzo reflects the elegance of the neo-gothic era, guests are catapulted into atmospheres of the past, between the blue of the lake and a luxuriant nature. With 45 rooms, 3 restaurants, bar and an outdoor pool it is the ideal location to relax and unwind, 25 minutes away from Milan’s Malpensa Airport.

Ideal for couples searching for the perfect venue, both original and exclusive, they will find that Castello Dal Pozzo offers everything they are looking for; a unique and matchless location, certain to create a memorable event.

The Castello is licensed for Civil Ceremonies held by the registrar. They can be held both indoors, in the Historical library or outdoors in the Armorial Courtyard with its fountain or the lawn outside the main entrance.

With a stunning hilltop setting overlooking Lake Maggiore and grand historic ambience, Castello Dal Pozzo is one of the premier conference centre hotels in Italy’s Piemonte region.

This year, the Pool and Bar of Folia Life open to the public at the property as an oasis of peace. ”
