Over this summer, Luštica Bay, Montenegro’s largest, fully integrated lifestyle destination, has opened its Marina Village and launched one of the project’s first luxury five-star hotels, The Chedi Luštica Bay. Once fully ready, Luštica Bay (developed by Orascom Development Holding), will offer more than 1,500 properties including apartments, villas, and townhouses, two world-class marinas offering 225 berthing options, Montenegro’s first 18-hole Gary Player championship golf course due in 2021, shopping and dining outlets, and educational and medical facilities. The Chedi is the first of seven hotels planned for this Montenegrin project.
The Chedi Luštica Bay is one of the largest luxury hotels in the area and the brand’s second hotel in Europe after The Chedi Andermatt. The 111-key hotel boasts 45 rooms, six suites and features condominiums for sale. The hotel makes the most of its sea-facing location with two waterfront restaurants, with a private beach thrown in for good measure. Indoor and outdoor pools and sundeck, a gymnasium, direct access to the promenade and marina, and Mice facilities are all available. The Chedi Spa offers an array of treatments inspired by the ancient healing traditions of the East.
The luxury hotel has been welcoming guests since July this year. Darren Gibson, chief executive officer at Luštica Bay, said: “Montenegro is steadily becoming a go-to destination for those seeking an ultimate luxury riviera lifestyle. It is with great pride that we are bringing the iconic Chedi brand to Luštica Bay. Along with the launch of the first marina this summer, this is a significant milestone in the development of our project. The Chedi is a perfect fit for Luštica Bay, given the synergies in the brand ethos of both companies. This agreement reaffirms our commitment to the highest quality development and firmly establishes Luštica Bay at the forefront of luxury residential and tourist destinations in the region.”
Direct seasonal flights to Tivat (via flydubai), peg the destination six hours away from the GCC, offering a mid-haul riviera escape for both regional holidaymakers and property buyers.
