Kempinski Hotel Bahía reopens

Kempinski Hotel Bahía Estepona – Marbella will be welcoming guests to its new-look upgraded establishment soon. After an extensive redesign of the lobby, restaurants and bars with the inception of a bold new approach to drinking and dining at the hotel, bringing all the venues under the cluster name of “El Paseo del Mar”.  The hotel’s general manager Carla Lopes remarked, “I’m extremely proud to lead this project, where we will bring our next vision and bold new approach to such a sought-after and vibrant destination as the Costa del Sol.”

For El Paseo del Mar, Kempinski Hotel Bahía is cooperating with the celebrated Zsidai Gastronomy Group, whose current official partners include brands such as the Jamie Oliver Group and Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest.

New concepts will include Baltazar Steak House, a funky and lively all-year-round grill-restaurant, and Spiler Beach Club, a chill-out lounge, bar and restaurant that overlooks the Mediterranean, combining entertainment, dining and music. The stunning new lobby will be home to the Black Rose Bar, the perfect place to taste a cocktail and socialise with friends or hold a business meeting.

El Paseo del Mar will be fully operational by May 2018, thus ‘positioning the hotel’ as a culinary destination where international guests and locals are at the centre of the action. Kempinski Hotel Bahía opened in 1999, and the award-winning hotel was designed by one of Andalucia’s most renowned architects, Melvin Villarroel. It is surrounded by a footprint of 40,000 sq m of indigenous and subtropical gardens. The hotel has 128 spacious rooms and 17 luxury suites, a spa offering a soothing luxury experience, and several spacious conference rooms. The frontline beach location is a calming oasis, located between Marbella and Gibraltar, and on the doorstep of the authentic, unspoilt town of Estepona, making it a popular choice for tourists from all over the world.
