UAE nationals, holding diplomatic, private and regular passports can make visa-free visits to the Republic of Tajikistan, a senior UAE government official said.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation received a diplomatic memorandum from Tajikistan's ministry of foreign affairs, detailing the government decision to grant UAE nationals entry visa upon arriving to the Tajikistan territories, Ahmed Al Dhaheri, assistant under-secretary for Consular Affairs, was quoted as saying by Emirates news agency Wam.
He added that the move reflects the stature attained by the UAE and contributes to strengthening bilateral relations between the UAE and Tajikistan and to opening new avenues for growing tourism and trade between the two friendly countries.
