Radisson Blu Residence opens doors in Istanbul

Radisson Blu Hotels & Resorts has opened its residences in Istanbul. With a large choice of apartment sizes, guests at the Radisson Blu Residence, Istanbul Batışehir will enjoy all the comforts of home in the heart of Bağcılar, one of the upcoming areas in Istanbul, close to the old city. The property is the first Radisson Blu Residence to open in Turkey.

Developed as part of Batışehir, a newly built complex that consists of offices, retail stores and residential housing, Radisson Blu Residence, Istanbul Batışehir offers 171 spacious serviced apartments with contemporary design and five-star facilities. Guests can select from a range of 13 studios, 36 one-bedroom, 77 two-bedroom and 45 three-bedroom apartments. Each apartment provides high standards of comfort and is fully-equipped with a modern kitchen, bathroom, master bedroom and closet. All apartments also have a balcony to take in excellent views of the city or the Batışehir development.

Located only 9km from Istanbul International Atatürk Airport, the striking building is situated close to the Trans European Motorway (TEM), the highway that connects Istanbul city centre to the airport. The proximity to shopping malls and the Old City also will make it popular for visiting guests.

Guests will enjoy starting the day with the Radisson Blu signature Super Breakfast from Larder Restaurant and can indulge in international cuisine from the a la carte or open buffet menu in the evening.  The Residence’s Lounge Cafe & Bar creates a unique neighbourhood vibe and perfect space to socialize or relax. The naturally lit bar invites its guests to sit back and enjoy the rhythm of the city with its contemporary design and creative selection of freshly prepared cocktails.

All five meeting rooms, located on the mezzanine floor, provide the space to host recreational get-togethers or more formal business meetings. Each meeting room is equipped with the latest technology and offers natural daylight for a positive meeting experience.

The residence features a 600-sq-m spa with a Turkish hammam, three massage rooms, a sauna, a Jacuzzi, a steam bath, relaxation room and a range of beautiful treatments. The wellness space also includes a fully-equipped gym with extensive fitness facilities. The Batişehir development has a land area over 800,000 sq m and includes residences, a hotel, offices, an educational complex, an outdoor bazaar, a sports halls and 100,000 square meters of green space. The Batişehir project was designed by Bünyamin Derman. Once completed, it will house more than 15,000 people.
