Region to welcome both Crystal Cruises this winter

Share

Crystal Cruises will visit the Gulf with both its ships during winter 2017/18. Crystal Symphony, with a maximum occupancy of 960 guests will be ending her Presidents cruise in Dubai at the end of November, before embarking on her 17-night voyage to Mauritius. Her time in the Gulf will see her visiting Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with overnights in both, as well as Doha and Muscat. What is more exciting is that Edie Rodriguez, president & CEO Crystal Cruises, will be on-board to host its close trade partners for a special event.

In April 2018, the Gulf welcomes Crystal Serenity as she makes her way to Europe as part of her 2018 World Cruise. In addition to the ports visited in November, the 1062 guests on-board will also be charmed by Manama, Fujairah and Salalah.

Both Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity have the accolade of being voted the world’s best more times than any other cruise line, resort or hotel globally. This is due to the all-exclusive and all-inclusive six-star service and amenities on-board.

These include world-renowned dining, with complimentary speciality restaurants such as the Asian Fusion restaurant ‘Silk Road by Nobu’ and the enchanting fine dining venue ‘Prego’. These are complimented by the exquisite choices of classic or contemporary cuisine available in the main dining room. Crystal’s all-inclusive does not just stretch to its food and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, included in the fare, guests benefit from complimentary wi-fi, all gratuities, complimentary fitness and yoga classes as well as a vast array of enrichment programmes.

Entertainment on-board is comparable to the best available at sea. A wide variety of Broadway style shows are complemented by a fantastic array of singers, musicians, comedians and even up-close magicians provided by the USA’s Magic Castle.

In size, Crystal ships are regarded as medium tonnage weighing in at around 60,000 tonnes. Comparable size ships offered by more mainstream operators well known in the region, carry over 2,000 passengers. Being six star and with the four company pillars being ‘Quality’, ‘Space’, ‘Service’ and ‘Choice’ the Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity cater to less than half the number of guests and most importantly provide almost double the number of crew to service them.

This Summer, the Crystal Symphony will be in Scandinavia before moving to the Mediterranean in September. Crystal Serenity will spend the first half of the Summer in Alaska before starting a unique 32-night expedition cruise from Anchorage to New York through the rarely chartered waters of the Northwest Passage, making her the only mid to large size cruise line ever to offer this itinerary.
