THE Qatar International Food Festival celebrates its 8th anniversary in Doha from March 29 to April 8 this year. Hosted by the Qatar Tourism Authority, this years’ festival features fine dining, at the special invitation of international culinary star chefs, and the diversity of local and international cuisine from over 100 vendors in the food park.

The very exclusive interactive Chef’s Table makes a debut this year, in a different featured five-star luxury hotel every evening. Book your seats early to enjoy this unique offer to experience first-hand, an insight into the minds of the international culinary stars redefining gourmet dining.

Simultaneous to this, visitors will be given the opportunity to experience food trends at the open-air event with daily demonstrations at the ‘Qatar Cooking Theatre’ zone. A variety of events for the entire family are available with special zones for children, musical entertainment, traditional oud players and interactive roaming acts. The vendor booths will also be complimented by a select number of international embassies, which will proudly introduce dishes of their countries national pride.

Dinner in the Sky will once again appeal to thrill-seekers offering a delectable three-course meal elegantly served while suspended 40 metres in the air.
Five-star restaurants will offer their signature culinary favourites, while food trucks and street food concepts will feature everything from crispy chicken wings to pizzas.
