Qatar Duty Free (QDF) is planning a major expansion, spurred by the 30 per cent growth in business in the current quarter.
The new-look duty free shop at the departure lounge of the Doha International Airport has already become a success because of its vantage location, product display, competitive pricing and customer care, said assistant general manager, Krishna Kumari.
Kumari said the boutique-style shop in the departure lounge has over 8,000 products ranging from cosmetics to electronics and jewellery.
The QDF prices are 10%-20% cheaper than the local market, she said.
