Sun International’s legendary Sun City in the North West Province of South Africa is soon to complete a one-billion rand ($69.5 million) refurbishment revitalising its iconic appeal and ensuring that it retains its rightful place as South Africa’s premier lifestyle resort and one of the most exciting incentive destinations in the world.
The resort’s four hotels, the convention centre as well as the many restaurants are being revamped and the redevelopment of Sun City will be completed by the end of this year.
Sun City’s Cabanas hotel has just completed a holistic refurbishment which includes a refresh of the guest rooms, reception area and restaurant. This is the first major upgrade of the hotel since 2007. Along with the rejuvenation of the aesthetics of the hotel, a completely reimagined Cabanas has emerged with a fresh and contemporary feel.
