LOCATED at a 45-minute drive from Al Nahda Resort & Spa in Oman’s Wadi Al Abiyad, the 30-room Dunes by Al Nahda will be the closest desert resort to downtown Muscat and the UAE. This proximity will allow guests to combine stays at both properties easily.
Six executive rooms will be 40 sq m each in size, 12 VIP rooms and 12 VIP tents will be 64 sq m.
An open-air restaurant will give guests the opportunity to dine under the stars and enjoy a full-desert experience.
Activities will include dune bashing, sand boarding, camel riding, zip lining and star gazing, with the help of a professional guide.
A banquet facility accommodating up to 250 people will also be available. Niti Ajit Karsandas Hamlai, managing director and owner of Al Nahda Resort & Spa, says: “It is a very exciting time for us as we work towards opening Dunes by Al Nahda towards the end of the year. We are looking forward to offering guests an authentic desert experience at Dunes, combined with some innovative activities.”
