Capitol signs management agreement with Patina

The Patina, Capitol Singapore … all set to open its doors on December 8

CAPITOL Investment Holdings and luxury brand Patina Hotels & Resorts have jointly signed a hotel management agreement to operate The Patina, Capitol Singapore, Patina Hotel & Resorts’ flagship hotel, at the Capitol development, a prime integrated development in Singapore’s Downtown Civic District. The hotel is slated to open on December 8 this year.

Pua Seck Guan, director and shareholder of Capitol Investment Holdings, said, “We are pleased to announce The Patina, Capitol Singapore, as the six-star hotel component within the Capitol development. This follows the successful launch of Eden Residences Capitol, an ultra-luxurious residential tower, within the premier integrated lifestyle precinct. Pontiac Land Group is renowned for its ownership of luxurious hotels and hospitality business in Singapore. With their management of the Patina brand, which is well supported by their strong hospitality track record and experience, coupled with the beautifully restored heritage buildings, which will house the hotel, we are well-poised to create an outstanding hotel product that will elevate the status of the entire development.”

Guan added, “In the coming quarters, we will be unveiling an array of exciting concepts for Capitol’s retail and theatre components which will be befitting of the premier status of the unique integrated development, bringing us towards realising our vision to create Singapore’s heritage lifestyle, retail and entertainment precinct in Singapore’s Downtown Civic District.”

Comprising two heritage buildings Stamford House and Capitol Building, The Patina, Capitol Singapore, is designed by world-renowned hospitality interior design company Jaya International Design. The property contains 157 well-appointed rooms and is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World (www.lhw.com), a global luxury hotel collection. Further enhancements in all guest rooms include a centralised control system through individual hand-held tablets, a surround sound system, complimentary high-speed Internet connection, high quality bed linen and premium bath amenities.

Leisure facilities include a relaxation saltwater pool, state-of-the-art fitness centre, a Library Club Lounge and a signature restaurant and lounge. There will also be a function room with a pre-function area that can be divided into two rooms for intimate events.
