THE spa at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah offers luxurious 24-carat gold facials, the first of a kind in the UAE.
The one-and-a-half hour treatment includes 24-carat gold serum resulting in brighter and tighter skin, which is well hydrated and conditioned and has inspired an exclusive range of jewellery designed by German artist Lia Staehlin.
As part of the extension of the True Waldorf Service, Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah has experienced therapists on hand to guide and advise guests on ideal treatments based on a personalised consultation.
The spa is designed to enhance the hotel’s luxuriously-appointed façade whilst providing guests with a sense of serenity. The curves of the spa replicate the calm waves and balancing motions of the sea, a theme which is echoed throughout the venue.
The spa has 12 treatment rooms to afford maximum privacy and a VIP treatment suite is also available.
The newly-launched spa menu features a range of luxury products from exclusive suppliers Voya and Rodial. Voya Organic Beauty is the world’s first range of Certified Organic seaweed based products, sustainably hand-harvested and halal. These products originated in 1912 with the first seaweed baths and have been produced by the same family on the shores of Ireland for over 100 years.
Rodial is a revolutionary youth promoting range of skin products offering ultra-nourishing treatments and effective anti-ageing ingredients, bridging the gap between scientific and natural skincare.
