HOLIDAY seekers can have fun, rest and relaxation at the 124-acre Shangri-La’s Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa in Oman, this summer.
Situated in the midst of majestic mountains overlooking dazzling turquoise sea, the resort has three tailor-made summer packages at its three properties: the weekend full-board package; the family package which includes two meals a day and the suite/spa package.
Valid until August 31, 2013, the packages start from OMR70 ($181) nett at the Al Waha hotel for double occupancy inclusive of buffet breakfast, OMR90 ($233) nett at the Al Bandar hotel and OMR115 ($298) at the Al Husn hotel.
Guests can go dolphin watching, diving, dip in the infinity pool, relax in the 500-m lazy river, or go kayaking and snorkelling. The resort has a turtle reservation on its premises and several entertainment options for children including the Splashland aquatic play area, the Cool Zone Kids Club and the Gamez entertainment centre, two private beaches and 6,000 sq m of swimming pools.
Its Chi spa comprises 12 treatment villas and the resort offers a range of dining options across its three properties.
