HERTZ UAE has opened its first car rental branch in Al Ain to meet demand as the UAE’s Garden City grows as a tourism and commercial centre.
According to Plan Al Ain 2030, a blueprint for growth created by the Abu Dhabi Planning Council in 2007, the emirate’s population will treble by 2030 to reach one million residents.
Nigel Johnson, managing director of Hertz UAE, says the increased demand from Hertz customers for great value and genuine quality service in the Al Ain area made the opening of the new branch in the Sanaiya area crucial.
“Al Ain is clearly progressing as a centre for business and leisure,” said Johnson. “It has growing academic and healthcare communities and its tourism and manufacturing sectors are blossoming.
“We look forward to servicing the dynamic Al Ain area with high quality rentals for our new and returning customers. The new branch reflects our commitment to Al Ain and to the UAE as a whole.”
The new outlet is located next to the Al Futtaim Group’s Honda service centre in Al Ain’s growing industrial area and will offer extended opening hours to reflect the timings of the surrounding auto workshops.
All Hertz vehicles are fully insured and undergo a 40-point quality check-up prior to handover. Customers can also rely on Hertz’s 24-hour back up service breakdown cover including replacement vehicles, full maintenance and repairs and round-the-clock roadside assistance.
The opening of the Al Ain branch means that Hertz UAE, part of the Al-Futtaim Group of companies, now has 14 locations across the UAE, including branches in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
