THE Sofitel Al Khobar The Corniche was officially opened in the presence of HRH Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of the Eastern Province. The ceremony was attended by the owner, Saad Al-Dajaam, Sami Nasser, Sofitel vice president, Middle East, Africa and Indian Ocean, Magdy Al Badry, the property’s general manager, and the management team.
Prince Mohammed said: “This is an impressive hotel and we need more such hotels in this region because more and more people from other parts of Saudi Arabia are visiting the Eastern Province”.
Al-Dajaam said: “This is a proud moment for us and Sofitel will provide a big boost to the tourism industry in the Eastern Province”.
Nasser added that the new hotel will complement the company’s our other properties which will open in 2011 in Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Egypt and Mauritius.
The Sofitel Al Khobar The Corniche is located on the east coast of Saudi Arabia, in the city of Al Khobar, an important regional economic centre.
